Day 4 of our Building Better Holidays campaign features Puppy Jake Foundation, a non-profit organization that strives to help restore independence to wounded military Veterans with the assistance of professionally trained service dogs by:
- Selecting healthy and outstanding dogs
- Conducting an intensive training and socialization program
- Placing dogs with combat wounded veterans
- Following up to ensure success of both the dog and veteran team
Their Mission: Puppy Jake Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to helping military veterans through the assistance of well-bred, socialized, and professionally trained service dogs.
Their Vision: “Providing service dogs to restore independence for wounded veterans.”
Over the past two years, we’ve raised and proudly donated over $25,000 to Puppy Jake Foundation through our charity golf outing and fundraising efforts.
You can help make a wounded veteran’s life better – Become a foster family. As a foster, you’ll socialize and train a puppy for 18-24 months, bringing the puppy everywhere and introducing them to what life may be like when they are placed with their veteran.
